First day of the workshop, and I’ve picked up a couple of neat tricks and techniques. It bodes well for the rest of the week. We work with a model this morning (although I’m sure she will be clothed), and then Thursday morning sunrise we go early to — you guessed it, Edith — the Maroon Bells, where the weather is forecast to be clear and beautiful, no doubt to practice fill flash techniques.
After four days of nasty weather, things are improving today.

Here’s a last installment of photos of Edith from last week:
- In the boulder jumble
- On the dunes
- Shallow stream
- Framed in the window
For the remainder of the 100+ photos from our odyssey around Colorado, you’ll have to either wait the 20-30 years for them to show up here, or go to my website.
